Mechanical Twins

This project examines the potential of advanced modeling, animation, and robotic techniques to produce and represent complex geometries. The link between Arduino and Maya allows digital and analog motion to be compared and synchronized. This juxtaposition would generate tension between digital and physical results, catalog them and insert them back into their digital models to inform and reiterate the process. The drive of the story doesn’t only rely on the visualization of the behavior achieved, but would also introduce dynamic skeletons to recreate and investigate such behavior in the physical model.
